Nino Bertasio signs with Baglioni Hotels

Nino Bertasio has announced a new partnership with Italian luxury hotel chain Baglioni Hotels & Resorts. 

Bertasio, 30, from Brescia, represented Italy at the 2016 Olympics and is now in his fourth season on the European Tour. 

He will wear the prestigious Baglioni Hotels & Resorts logo for the very first time at this week’s Trophee Hassan II in Morocco, which starts on Thursday.

Baglioni joins Callaway, Lemanik and Fideuram as Bertasio’s partners for the 2019 season. 

Bertasio said: “I’m very proud to be associated with Baglioni Hotels & Resorts. The quality of their hotels is incredible and it’s a brand that is famous in Italy and around the world.

“As a golfer, I spend most of my time away from home travelling and, whether it was a holiday or work, Baglioni Hotels have everything you could ever wish for with that Italian hallmark. I’m really pleased to be working with them.”

Baglioni Hotels & Resorts was first established in 1974 and has nine hotels (in Milan, Venice, Florence, Rome, London, Aix-en-Provence, Saint Paul de Vence, Punta Ala and the Maldives) across the globe. 

They pride themselves on a combination of sophistication and elegant luxury, an intimate homely atmosphere with a “tailor-made” service.

Baglioni Hotels & Resorts Chief Executive Officer Guido Polito said: “We’re very happy to be in partnership with Nino. 

“It’s a great time for Italian golf, with the Ryder Cup coming to Rome in just three years, and we’re excited to be sharing what is sure to be an exciting year for Nino.”
