I’ve got to know Chubby and everyone there very well over a long period of time and I’m delighted to be working with them.
International Sports Management has completed the signing of English golfer David Horsey.
Horsey, 33, who is from the Manchester area, is a four-time European Tour winner.
He started his 11th consecutive year on the European Tour with a share of 11th place at the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship presented by EGA last month and will be in action once again at next week’s Oman Open.
Horsey is the latest player to join the management company, established by Chubby Chandler in 1989, following the addition of South African Justin Harding earlier this week.
He said: “I’m really happy to be joining ISM. I’ve got to know Chubby and everyone there very well over a long period of time and I’m delighted to be working with them.
“This is a big year for me and I’m doing everything I can to make sure it is a successful one.”
ISM’s other golfers include former Open champions Louis Oosthuizen and Darren Clarke, four-time European Tour winners Matt Wallace and George Coetzee and rising Austrian star Matthias Schwab.
Chief Executive Officer Chandler said: “Everyone at ISM is thrilled to have Dave with us. He’s had a great career so far, is as professional as they come and as ambitious and hungry as ever.
“This is a very interesting phase in his golfing life and we’re extremely pleased to have a role to play in his future.”
