I wouldn’t be working this hard if I didn’t think I could still win.
Darren Clarke won his first PGA Champions Tour event with victory at the TimberTech Championship.
The Northern Irish legend, chasing a first trophy since winning The Open Championship in 2011, shot a 62 that included a penalty stroke to share the lead going into Sunday.
And a two-putt birdie on the last was enough to hold off Jim Furyk and Bernhard Langer for the win.
“I’ve had a lot of opportunities the last few years, so it’s great to finally win one,” Clarke said.
